Default My first fat tailed gecko

Hi I just brought home my first gecko. It is a african fat tailed gecko. I have been reading up on these guys and I think I got the basics. Her name is CoCo, she is in a 10 gallon tank. She has reptile carpet in her cage now. I have a moist hide on the cool side packed with this green frog moss from zilla..I read they need more humidity. Does any one know what is the best substrate for these guys. Any way She has a heating pad on one side of the tank and a dry hide on top.The in this floor area is about 90 degrees. Air temp on the warm side is about 82-84 degrees. and the cool side is 77-78 degrees. Is this ok? I have plastic plants for extra cover for her to. water dish,I have the non phosphorus leopard calcium vitamin for dusting. and a plain vitamin with d3 also for dusting to. As of wright now she eats crickets and she will not eat mealworms yet. is this ok? Is there any secrets out there that I am missing for CoCo. Thank you Tim and CoCo. O I also gut load my crickets with calcium cricket drink and a oat gut load with calcium.

everything sounds good, personally i use paper towel for substrate. also, i think your cool side should be a couple degrees cooler, but really it all sounds fine.

good luck and have fun.
