Default Incubation temps

When I read up on fat tail incubation, I found out that they are generally incubated at slightly higher temps than leopard geckos. I incubate for female and since I read that the low end temp for fat tails was 82.5, that's what I incubated at, figuring it would allow me the best chance to produce female fatties and leos in the same incubator. I produced 4 fatties and the person who bought the one I've sold so far now tells me it is a male. I know, of course, that even at "traditional" female temperatures a male can be produced but I was a bit surprised that this happened with what I understoode was a low temp for fattie incubation. I just wanted to check with experienced breeders that this is indeed the case ande that 82 or so is the lowest reasonable temp for incubating fatties.

Thanks Bob. Both books I read (Leopard Gecko Manual and Leopard Geckos in Captivity) seemed to indicate that 82 was the lowest safe temp for fattie incubation, but you obviously had success at lower temps. At 82.5 it took 9-10 weeks for incubation so I was reluctant to lower the temps. Maybe next season . . .
