Smile I got a new AFT today.

Hello all I just pick up my AFT today from the same breeder I got my female leo from and she is a cute looking gecko very healthy and very active now is it normal for her to not want to eat cuz she is in a new imviorment? my 2 leos ate for me even when I frist got them but my AFT has not should I try feeding her the next day? oh and her name is Daisy.

Oh I know she will warm up to me but should I try the next day to feed her again? and could she be stress out over a new setings?

Can anyone tell me that my Daisy is just stress over being in new settings and thats why she is not eating for me right away.

it's natural for an AFT to not eat for a few days when it gets transferred to a new environment. it happened to both of my AFT's and my baby leopard gecko when i got them.
but cookie is right, just leave her alone for a few days and let her get used to her new surroundings. after that she'll definitely eat and warm up to you
but yeah, don't worry too much, it's just stress and it'll go away within a week (or even less).

Okay thats what I will do then cuz she is a sweetheart she don't mind being held and thats good okay I will give her time it just worries me that any reptile goes throgh this lol thank you and thanks cookie for that advise.

Hello she ate for me this morning and Iam so happy I guess that she is not that stress out like I thought she was thas very good.
