Default Worm haters?

Are all Fat-tailed Geckos so picky about mealworms and wax worms? My female and male seem to hate them. As from the pic below, the female is full grown and really doesn't need them, but I want my male to grow to proper weight but neither want worms.

Most, but not all, fat tails don't like worms.

Most of mine at first wouldn't take meal, supers or any other types of worms but eventually they started to eat them and got hooked. There still picky though with some only eating meal worms and others only supers so with all my babies i started feeding them on a worm only diet.

Most worms (mealies and wax worms in particular) are poor choices for a main food source anyway. Much better off feeding crickets and roaches in the long run.

I didn't mean as a main food source. I just wanted my male to get on wax worms so he can start bulking up.

Why rush things? Feed him an appropriate diet and he'll grow at a normal, healthy rate. Power feeding waxworms and you'll risk fatty liver disease among other issues.

I just remember my female bulking up real fast and he seems to be taking forever. I didn't know about the liver disease though.
