A few AFT questions!
I have a few simple questions regarding my 1.3 quad of geckos I picked up last Friday. I got 1.1 Stripes, and .2 Normals. The normals are really tiny, maybe 2in long. Very small. One of them is not a traditional color. She is a mustard-ish color. Is this normal? Could it maybe be a hypo? Right now I have the 2 groups on Coco fiber, with 2 hides, some flat rocks, a dish for water and a dish with calcium. I am feeding each one about 5 crickets each day. I don’t see them eat but they disappear over night. I also throw in a few meal worms and wax worms every other day. They are imports so I do want to collect a fecal sample for my vet. The two bigger ones are stripes and they seem a lot more active than the others. Is this normal because they are older? The are I have them in is my living area in the basement. It can get chilly at night. Around 65-67. I keep the lights on them the keep it semi-warm. The are both heated with a lamp with a dimmer. One is a night bulb one is a day bulb. How do I know if I am stressing them? And how do I know that each is getting a decent amount of food and not hogging?
