Hello I've had my AFT since Sunday, and my boyfriend pointed out a grey-ish part of the gecko's tail and told me it's leftover shedding. He's had that on his tail since I got him at the pet store, and I've provided him with a humid hide with moist sphagum moss.
^ even though that's not my gecko, that is what the end of his tail looks like.
Can someone tell me if my bf is right? And if he is and the humid hide doesn't help take it off, what do you think is the best way for me to help take shed off him?
(p.s.: for a new AFT, he's been doing fantastic except he hasn't touched the mealworms. So I'm getting crickets for him today!)
