Default How Does My Vivarium Look?

Hi everyone,

i would like a moment of your time to rate my vivarium and give comments and suggestions for improvment!

(please do not comment about the sand and the possability of impactions i am well aware of the risks and i have taken precautions such as

1. making sure that there is enough calcium in a bowl and coated on crickets so she wont have to ingest the sand looking for calcium.

2 i feed her outside the vivarium to eliminate the possaility of ingestion when eating.

3. i have been checking her fecal matter and making sure it is ok and got no sand in it

4 using normal sand not calci sand and having the grain size super small

she is an adult and i have had no preblems with her on it so far)

Question Great looking set-up!

Hello MiNi, I think the vivarium looks great. I am new to keeping Leos and I am looking for some tips an how better improve the look of my Benny's home. I have a 2 month old albino leo, I keep him on slate tiles in a 20 gallon long. I want a more natural looking vivarium like yours. What type of small sand are you using and where did you get it? I will use the same precatiuons that you mentioned, but I will wait until Benny is an adult before using sand. Thanks for sharing your photos of the vivarium it does look great.
