Unhappy My Fat-Tailed Gecko Isn't Eating, But Is Still Healthy?

My fat-tailed gecko used to be very thin and cold. We fixed his lights, and he began eating twice a day. He gained weight and is at a healthy level and is not the correct temperature. It has been this way for a few months now, but suddenly he has stopped eating. He still feels warm and isn't losing weight, but the same crickets are in there from two days ago. I heard he could be blind, but I think this is just a rumor. Advice? Answers? Email me at taylor.burghardt@gmail.com

Firstly, I wouldn't leave the crickets in the tank for more than an hour. These buggers can be a pain to your gecko and cause stress which will lead to loss of appetite.
Being blind is surely a stretch but you can check this by picking your gecko up and shining a light across the gecko's eye (not directly into it but at an angle). Look closely at the eye as you shine the light, the pupil should constrict with the increase in light and prove that he's not blind.
He also may have stopped eating because of the change in weather. In the winter geckos can go into brumation (similar to hibernation) and so they will loose their appetite if it gets chilly enough. One of my leo's is doing this regardless of the temp.... He's got the same temps he's had before maybe slightly chillier. He hasn't eaten a decent meal in a bout a week and a half and has only lost 3 grams since I last weighed him 3 months ago.
You could also try offering some different feeders. Some geckos get picky about what they want to eat.
Keep us updated! I hope he eats for you soon.
