Default Molting???

Hello fellow gecko people!

I just adopted a fat tailed gecko from someone and am enjoying watching her be a gecko.
Just yesterday we noticed that her body (exclude her nose, feet, and tail) turned very pale, almost white. She is usually the color of darker sand. I think it's because she's molting....right??
If she is molting, what do I do to make her comfortable? Is there anything special I need to do for her? HELP! I've NEVER had a reptile growing up, she is my first.

Thanks for the help (in advance!).

Birds molt, geckos shed, but yes, that's what she's doing. She may not be as hungry when she's shedding and hopefully you have some kind of humid hide for her in case she needs more humidity while she sheds. Otherwise, there's nothing to do except to check her when she's done to make sure she got all the shed off her extremities. If you notice any shed stuck on there, especially on the toes, help her to remove it by wetting it (you can let her stand in about 1/2" of warm water for a few minutes) and gently pulling it off with your fingernails.

Yes, she's shedding. Don't be alarmed
Aliza pretty much covered it all. Just let her take it off herself and help her with the remaining that she can't get on her own by giving her a warm soak.
Remember that it's important to remove all the skin. I had a friend who didn't remove his gecko's extra skin and it was a huge pain to get it off. It took almost an hour, hurt the poor girl and she wound up losing one of her toes
