Hehehe, I tend to think so...but I really don't know how many clutches they are suppose to lay each year. My one female (5) has laid 3 and all have hatched, she is around 4 1/3 years, and my best breeder.

I have another female (1) that laid her first clutch ever and I god two good eggs from her and she hasn't produced any after...?

Female8 (screamer!) layed her first clutch, it was infertile even though I mated her, must have missed it...I really don't know about how to tell when they are ovulating or not...I figured if you see some eggs starting, throw a male in...heh! Is there a precise time anyone?

The season has been good, other then 2 of my females dying from Hypocalcemia...what a bum, but what can I do...1 gave me 3 babies, and the other gave me 3 babies...guess I did something wrong, the DVM told me I didn't...spent over $500 trying to get them well...poor things... :(

I feed them all on Discoids, Dubia (mostly), and Orange Heads...throw them a pinky maybe once a month...some females won't eat them...

Yep yep, no problem...that female never gave me eggs, even after I saw them growing and everything, she laid 1...but it wasn't even in a lay box, looked like a very undeveloped egg...just odd, see...

Ken,
Welcome to the world of amyae. They never cease to amaze me. One day they look like they are going to lay and a month later they spit out a dud. This is one reason why their prices are probably the most stable in the long run of all the Nephrurus that are commonly being bred today.

I know, I have been waiting on my "some what" banded looking female Amyae to lay just to see if her trait in what ever you call when it passes to the young(recessive?)

LOL, I won't be donating...heh, I actually just found out you need to have a business to sell them, is that true, any one know? Do you have to pay taxes on them?

Hey Scott (right?)

How is your season going? You going to bring those baby Amyae to the Daytona Show...I want a couple if so. Email me at kbartenfeld@tampabay.rr.com (sent you an email already)
