How big are they? What is the temperature in the habitat? Have you tried any other food?

How big are they? What is the temperature in the habitat? Have you tried any other food? Try peach or apricot babyfood, small mealworms, maggots, or if they are smaal try pinhead sized crickets.

The temperature is about 20 - 25 degress , i have tryed to have a meal worm and crickets in there for some hours but they wasnt eating em so i took em out again after som hours so they wasnt getting stressed .. They arent so big they are like 2 inches

if the can't stick well they are prolly about to shed, best bet for feeding try with some babyfood on the tip of your finger, place some on the tip of the geckos snout. it'll lick it off and then should progess to your finger.

A trick I found useful in getting stubborn eaters to feed, is what I call 'Squish Feeding'. What you have to d is squish the guts out of an appropriately sized cricket so that it's guts are basically hanging out of it's butt, then hold the cricket with the guts on the end of the geckos nose. Normally they will start to lick up the guts and then bite hold of the cricket.

Hope this helps.

Ill try that , but they are pretty hard to get too eat , i hope ill get them to eat normally :S

LOL.....I wouldn't take the cursing at full value because you can tell english isn't his first language..........he is from Demark...........i don't think he knows the severity of the use that curse word.......good luck with ur cresteds.......You may want to try a different type of babyfood though, like peach, mango, apricot and stuff like that. I don't think many care for apples.

peaches, bananna, mango, papya, apricot those have all worked for me, you have to use fruit that are at least semi tropical. apple are too foreign for them
good luck,

almost all geckos will eat a mix of babyfood (fruit), honey and water. one part each. add calcium for extra benefits. (my vietnamese golden loves it)

Hehe ok , sorry for language it arent so bad to say here in Denmark :) ..

They grow very fast now and eat every day :) ..

U mean just put som honey and water in a bottle and some vitamin's and then they should love it ?

Put one part water, one part honey, and one part fruit baby food in a small feeding dish.Mix it up good. This is more of a treat than anything else. Add a small amount of calcium if you want.
