I personally like CB tokays. I think they have striking colors and have heard stories about them being calm. I just think the Wcs are a waste. They usually look ugly and usually are mean from what I hear. If I ever got tokays, Id let the others deal with the WC. Anyone have any pics of CB tokays? Thanks. Just my 2 cents

Well we have plenty of CBB adults, juvi's and hatchlings.

are they as agro as the WCs?

Well everything we produce we try to handle as much as possible to sell more calm Tokays.
But to answer you question.
Yes cbb specimens that have been handled more frequently then wc,tend to be more less aggresive.
Although we still have a handfull of WC adults that we accuired years ago and a few have calmed down a bit compaired to when we first got them.

i think that all tokays are beautiful, even wild caught ones. i don't think that you can really change a tokays personality, just tone it down a bit.

i wont miss my tokays,too.

I dont handle my tokays,my 2 females were 2 weeks old, when i get them. They are shy,and trying to touch them is always loud.I love it,when the juveniles hide under the parents.

yes, there is nothing ever wrong with observing, and not always having to touch everything.

if you get a hatchling tokay and handle it everyday for about a year or so, or untill it starts to calm

there is a very good chance of it not being as agressive as others, my male is 7 years old and is as tame as they come, whenever i upen up his tub, he jups out and onto my shirt, he'll sit on my shoulder untill i put him back

but he does have his bad days, lol

i've never seen a calm WC, but again if you get it as a juvie, or baby, its possible
