Hello, as Justin and some others asked how the first born ciliaris of this season looks today, here are 3 pictures of him, he is changing in color to the brownish adult color now and gets more brownish after every shed. he is about 2,5 months old now, some yellow on his tail is also coming up. so in a few months later he will have his final colours.
enjoy the pictures.
regards stefan

he looks great stefan. Do you keep your juvies in a similar setup to your adults?

Hello Brandon:
I keep the hatchlings and the juvies in much smaller tanks ( plastic ones selfmade ). they are very simple and there is not much wood stuff in, just sand as fillin ( the one you see on the picture) the whole top of their tanks is fixed with some fly metal gaze and their are under a UVB neon light. thats all and they do very well.

thanks for the info stefan. When i had younger strophurus i kept them almost exactly the same as you, except instead of sand i used paper towel.
