4 females bro, all dead...

I'm really sorry to hear that bro! I know it sucks (especially for the lost animals), but I hope you can at least recover some of the cost.

I am getting the money back, its just the fact that 4 GORGEOUS geckos! I don't care about the money. If you could just see them, id post the pics of them...but...NO! That would make ya cry, trust me! I opened the box and was like, OMG...never had the problem, be sure you send it over night PRIORITY. Regardless of cost, its not worth it.

So do you know what killed them?? Was it too much heat or to little?

I ALWAYS ship my geckos for 10:30 arival unless someone lives in a rural area and in that case it is by 12:00...... Did they use UPS?

I would much rather have four females then the money also!! That must have been extremely hard to find--> four lone females!!

Does the person you got them from have any more females??

Thanks Erik

Thanks Erik

03-10-2006, 08:55 PM
i personally trust usps!!! never had a problem. was it the heatpack that did it? I couldn't imagine the weather getting too hot. maybe in florida though. :(

03-10-2006, 08:58 PM
Ya, I am a big fan of not useing usps....... My post office can never get a package out and can never get one in for next day delivery. I also really hate the usps tracking system.............

Also for those animals I wouldnt use usps..... I probabally would have used Delta!!

PS: Ken, If I get my pair of Eury's I will be getting them via Delta. Is that how you got yours from Phil?

THanks Erik

D*mn Ken...That really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. Was there a heat pack in the box? It was rather warm today here in Orlando. Did you get them shipped via priority overnight for morning delivery?

Ken Bartenfeld

Nope, was darn Standard overnight...and trust me Chris, it was hot here in tampa too!

03-10-2006, 11:16 PM
PS: Ken where in Tampa are you located?? I used to live in Pebbel Creek!! I might be visiting in Summer too! I WILL be at Daytona to pick up my pair of NORTHLAND GREEN GECKOS too!!

Thanks Erik

USPS no longer guarantees next day delivery. Granted, they often get there next day but I can't take a chance. I'm a huge fan of UPS and have had great luck with them since I stopped using USPS about 5 years ago. Gotta do the 10:30 am or earlier delivery time. It really helps during extreme weather.

I'm very sorry to hear about that, Ken.

So sorry to hear that, poor things.
