WIll a chahoua live happily in a 18"W X 12"D X 20"H cage?

Umm, I wouldn't recommend that size cage for a permanent home. I think I now the cage you're referring to-small ESU right? I'm housing a female chahou in one right now that's due out of quarentine until I get her new cage built and placed in the main reptile room. So yes it can live in it, but from my other chahoua, they like taller cages.

THanks. How about a 15-25 gallon high tank?

An ESU small is about the size of a 15g, so again no. The 25 high would be okay.

I have a couple cresteds in a 29 gallon tank. It is basically a 30 high.................i would go with that............its a really nice size for 1 chahoua.

The largest exo-terra is 18x18x24 but costs around 100 bucks.

A plane glass fish tank is probably going to be your cheapest route. I have a 29g I keep my Chahoua in. It was around 35/40 bucks

Where did you get it from? the only store by me is a petco and their tanks are 200-300 dollars

I've found that Petsmart has the best price for Exo-Terra's as far as the chain pet stores go. You can find them a little cheaper online at places like Reptile Depot, but you will have to pay for shipping.

I keep and breed my R. chahoua in cages of 40-40-70 centimteres (lenght-wide-hight). Make sure the cage is high enough for them!
