I'm looking for some info that someone just might know here. I am trying to find appropriate branches for my male chahouas enclosure. What kind of tree surfaces do R. chahoua inhabit? All I really know is they stick to rivers on the mainland. Are the trees smooth, or rough like oak trees, or lichenous?? Any of this info is greatly appreciated so he will enjoy his home even more.

Im sure it really wouldnt matter to them. The only thing that geckos in general seem to care about is the diameter of the branch. Make sure that the branch is similar in thickness to your chahoa's body.
