My leachie decided to bite me today. Hes not very big so it didnt hurt, but he wouldnt let go. After about 25 min i tryed calling Nathan to figure out what to do, but he didnt pick up so I left him a message. About two minutes after that the leachie let go. So I left him another message telling him not to bother calling me back, that the leachie had let go.

So basically...How the heck do I get her to let go without just waiting. I cant imagine how bad it would hurt if she decides to do this as an adult.

I feel like an idiot after leaving Nate those messages.

did you try just misting it in the face? i dont mean that to sound like animal cruelty, but it would probably get it to let go.....

No I didnt. I know if a snake wont let go you should run them under the faucet, so Ill try that next time.

ya large constrictors you can use warm water in the face region, or alcohol.

water has always worked for my tokay bites and for any snake mishaps
