Just Picked Tika up today from Petco.
Appears to be female.

Has been at Petco for awhile, was on sell and Combine that with a New Exo-Terra ( 12x12x18 )discounted to $19.98 = Tika.

Honestly not sure if Tika is a Skunk Gecko, Petco has been known to lable them wrong.

Seems to be settling in good. Tika was drinking from the dripping water. Placed a few crickets in the cage. Has a bit of Skin from the last shed on her toes still but hope the humidity will help solve that Problem. Appears Healthy.

Does anybody know the location for this morph?
These are imported frequently since a few years. Being as brilliantly coloured as the vittatus we all know when they hatch, they almost loose the white markings when they mature. Also they seem to be much more vocal than the "standard" vittatus and stay a bit smaller.
Who knows more?

Ingo

P.S.: Vittatus love to rest on smooth dark branches and thicker trunks. You should a add a whole lot more of these, extending till the top of the tank. Also I would recommend much denser foliage.

I have ordered some Vines for the Tank.

Locally the selection of Wood Sucks bad.

Plants are new so I am sure they will Grow in more.

Thanks everyone.
Sat and watch Tika a few hours last night. Always out in plain sight.
Already see a change in the Toes loosing the old dry skin.
Tika ate at least 1 Cricket.
Every time I looked at the Cage Tika was Watching me.

Don't seem to be at all shy. Doesn't hide even when I open the Cage.

Great Gecko! Sounds to be that "it" was taken care of before you got it.

I know that People "slam" Petco and other Chain Pet stores but My Local shop actually have great people looking out for thier Critters. They all have thier own critters at home and actually care alot about thier critters that they sale. They Really do know about taking care of each Animal. I stop in on a regular basis and talk about the Animals. They asked if I would "rescue" or Adopt animals if any come available.
