That's a tricky one. I have females that look like that and they are over two years of age. My male who I kept this year is 6 months or a tad over and has some noticable swelling compared to yours. Just my 2 cents ;-) and i'm not 100% sure at all...

I was on the same page as Ken. Maybe "he's" a late bloomer?

Well, that was more the shape of the bulges than their size that drove me to think it's a male: you don't see a real longitudinal depression (above all when the tail is curved towards the back) and also the part of the pockets near the tail seems already too round/full to be a female.
Nevertheless, sexing young gecko from pics is always more difficult than when you have them in hands and maybe I have been too much permeptory in my judgmement, so I will add some water to my wine and tell you it's look like a male, but I could be wrong.
Best thing is to wait 2 months to see how that evoluates and then you come back and let us know, and in case then argue or thanks the breeder of this nice creature.

I have a bunch of male wheeleri :( about the same age or a little younger and all of them have much more bulging than yours. I hope yours is female or I have even more males than I thought :(:( ()

those are better pics. I'd tend towards female. Some females of mine have had pretty impressive post cloacal bulges, too.
