Neither one is 100% fired-up, but had to get a quick photo of these 2 girls since both looked pretty darn good. Lola (retic) is about 95% fired-up & Vesper (stripe) is about 85% fired-up.

Can't wait to photograph them together when both are completely fired, here's what they looks like separately.....

It's amazing how red these girls get, can't wait for babies. Vesper has 2 incubating at the moment & Lola will be paired with the same male (Vaako) once she makes weight this summer. Vesper does have 1 baby from last year, little one looks exactly like her clone from when Vesper was a baby....will be interesting to see her color transformation later this year.

awesome colors as usual! I'm just curious, do you have any photos of them growing to show how they gain the red with age? That would be neat to see :)

Thanks!

I'll post some later today when I get the chance, but if you click on the 'iHerp' link in my signature you can pull both girls up & see photos of them when they were babes, juvies & now.

Laura, try this thread: Red Garg progression (for Andi and Alex) (http://www.pangeareptile.com/forums/showthread.php?60210-Red-Garg-progression-(for-Andi-and-Alex))

My pics aren't nearly as good as Andi's though.

Thanks, that was sweet! I mostly do red blotch and orange blotch and it seems they usually hatch with obvious color and it only increases a little with age as opposed to these red base color animals that start grays and change dramatically. I like that mine hatch with lots of color right away but i also enjoy seeing them progress and get more awesome with age :)

I've always had a soft spot for red base, LOVE the transformation and Lola is still hitting her stride.

I'm also a big fan of gargs with orange "tears" so hopefully I'll have both going in one of my projects next year.

I currently have 2 Vesper/Vaako eggs incubating & expect her to lay again within 7-10 days. I know Tony (terradas) is excited, he gets 1st pick of her babies. I'm sure we could probably work something out to get one over to you.

We have 5 red projects going this year + my 2 uroplatus projects; i'll be overrun with babies soon since I'm expecting 5 garg & 2 Sikorae eggs to hatch in May....pulling my hair out already :?
