Default s. ciliaris ciliaris male a.k.a. McLovin

As smooth as this character is, he is still looking for a special lady friend. He likes to work on his tan most days, he enjoys the occasional stroll on his substrate, dusted crickets, but most of all he loves taking it easy and relaxing on his twigs. He seeks a female and he likes em young! Who will the lucky lady be? Only time can tell.... I'm really just looking to see some beautiful s c. ciliaris female pics here!

There once was a lone ciliarus
Who flew himself from New Jersey to Paris
He went looking for tail
But only found other males
Oh la la for some parthenogenesis

Sorry, I just couldn't resist...
Congrats on your 1001st post, Oli.

I'm trying! I just can't spend 2K on a pair from Europe at this time, and can't find any here in the states.....hopefully soon though, the males aren't even at breeding age yet so I don't have to worry about any of these situations, YET!

they change their color sometimes during the night, sometimes during the day to the black white and orange markings that you are talking about, but that's not their usual coloration. i don't know why they change their color exactly.

Awesome gecko there, Tim. Wish some of those genes were still floating around in the pool.

Tim, that male is indeed very nice! The orange's are very appealing to me. Sean, oh they are in the pool, just a long swim away lol, but not unobtainable. I'm gonna post some pics I took.....
