So I'm looking at making a purchase at the Hamm show in September and having it shipped back to the US. What species are available that are rarely seen in the US. If I am going to spend the money on the broker and shipping I want to make it worth my while.

I think that there is some species like Diplodactylus granariensis rex or some Strophurus (williamsi, intermedius...) are much cheaper in Europe than USA, in fact, they are very hard to find in USA... it could be a good trade if you buy these animals here...

Jose, we have those species over here and they aren't too pricey, especially s. williamsi in particular. During the spring/summer those geckos are readily available. I would say some species like n. vertebralis, some of the rarer strophurus species would be a good place to start if you can find or feel ok spending that kind of money on them

Obviously, if you have this amount of money for spend in a N. vertebralis, there is better options that species i have said... i said this species because the prices of the North American websites... i saw 6 months ago D. gr. rex pairs for 1000$ and unsexed babys for 400$... in Europe you can find this specie for less than a half...

I think strophurus in general are cheaper in Europe than USA... but it´s only my poor opinion, maybe USA breeders can help you better, they know american "reptile market" better than me...
