Obviously, if you have this amount of money for spend in a N. vertebralis, there is better options that species i have said... i said this species because the prices of the North American websites... i saw 6 months ago D. gr. rex pairs for 1000$ and unsexed babys for 400$... in Europe you can find this specie for less than a half...
I think strophurus in general are cheaper in Europe than USA... but it´s only my poor opinion, maybe USA breeders can help you better, they know american "reptile market" better than me...
