Default Striped Strophurus in captivity

I was wondering why actually no striped Strophurus are keeping. Exclusively from the whole genus are only the non striped variations in captivity. Is there for any plausible reason? I can’t imagine that they are more difficult to keep than the others, perhaps in breeding!? I’m curious on your answers very much. Maybe I can convince myself of the opposite soon.

Regards
Sebastian
