Default S. wyberba Bloodlines?

Hello all,

Does anyone know how many different bloodlines of Saltuarius wyberba there are in the US? I recently acquired 1.2 adults (I believe about 1.5 years old for 1.1 and 2.5 years old for the 0.1) that are all unrelated. I know that one pair is originally from Mat.Si and the other female is from a different source. I'm just wondering if it is worthwhile looking for another adult male to try and maintain two separate bloodlines. I'll be very interested in trading offspring once I have hatchlings.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Your other female is from Peebles stock. I traded her to Tom last year.

To my knowledge there are three or four BL's in the US max. Even the ones from Matjaz (I have some from him as well) I believe are cousins to US animals from talking to Jerry about it. I believe most of the "US" bloodlines originate from Jerry who got his from Michael Troeger.

Its hard to find out exactly who came from where....

Thanks Derek,

I figured there would be very few. I'll keep my eye out for any adult males that may show up available and try to make sure to diversify if at all possible.

Steve
