I found those pics interesting and wanted to share them..

I found that dead baby full develloped in the egg.

It is oedura monilis, from a 9 years old (breeding) female!

She laid me both dud and good eggs again this season, (un)fortunately no baby has hatched so far.

Never seen such markings on monilis..

I hope I don't have any mutagen material in my incubator (haha), cause last week I found a leucistic baby marmorata (totally white with dark eyes!), full grown but dead in the egg.

Unfortunately my camera wasn't loaded up for this one, and I don't have freezer at home at the moment.

a 9old monilis female ? do you think it could be cecause of her age ?

I don't know the causes, I don't improvise myself a biologist, and I don't use to talk about the man who saw the bear

I just know very well the origin of my animals and their age, I only breed unrelated animals

the leucistic marmorata found dead in the egg was from a young female (3yrs old, first season)

So, those two facts you are talking about are wierd... Did you ever meet something like this with other genus ??
