Default Diplodactylus galeatus

Hi I recently got a pair of Diplodactylus galeatus the male is doing great but the female will not eat. I have tried crickets and mealworms but nothing will work I have had her for four weeks so once I noticed she has started to lose a bit of weight I stated giving her the one part of repashy but I left the friut part out. She only did a few poops befor feeding her repasy but I am guessing that is from what she had in her belly before. Any sugestions on how I could get her to eat?
Also the tank is about mid 80f.

Hi, a method, which workes well sometimes is to squash one end of a waxworm (usually the head) by tweezers, smear this "purree" onto the snouth of the gecko and hold the rest of the waxworm near to the snouth. Normally the gecko will lick the "purree" and certainly will take the waxworm.
It's not appetizing to people, but I would try it before loosing the animal....
I used this method succesfully for various species, also for galeatus.

Regards, Hanno

Try maybe a greater thermogradient. Like 80F cold end, 95F hot end, with a 10F degree night time drop.

Also, how is your tank set up? When I kept galeatus I first had them in a sano shoe box set up with fine red sand, 2 simple hides and a water bowl. They were boring and lifeless, but cute. After a few months I gave them a 5 gal tank with rock walls, bottle brush sticks/twigs and the same red sand, but added some small leaf litter near the twigs and also made a rock outcrop for them. My previously boring geckos came alive and were very active. I had the same findings with vittatus as well.
