so white plains was good today and thank fully only came home with one gecko but man is he a great and only $75 which i consider a good deal especially considering i didn't have to pay shipping lol.
now i just have to get his tank set up for him which is easy and hope fully find him a mate which will take some time, once i get the tank done i'll post pics of it. soo happy today (and a bit sleep deprived lol)
ya i know i don't think i would have bought him if he was $100 but $75 was defiantly my price range. i am actually amazed at the restraint i showed there was alot of animals i really wanted lol, thank fully this and some Blaberus Fusca (dusky cave roach) where the only two species i brought home. also need to double check but hot side should be around 85-90 right?
ok this is the set up i thew together quickly and the back ground and tank i've actually had for quite a while just didn't have a use for them till now, still needs a little work though.
ya i know, scared me though when i took a flying jump out of my hands when i was moving him into the new tank it seems to be moving just fine but still a little worried about that.
the tank is a 10 gallon and substrate is a mixture of sieved play sand, Jurassic sand and a little eco-earth with some leaf litter scattered around on top. the tank is no where near done mainly because i honestly wasn't expecting to get one of these guys, though i did know there basic requirements and had most of the material on hand already.
