Could you post pictures?
If you have a prolapse on your hands, it is vital for you to get to the vet asap! A vet can gently reinsert the tissues. Sometimes the tissues will remain in place without even a stitch. One of my northern velvets once prolapsed secondary to substrate ingestion. The vet reinserted the tissues, recommended tepid water soaks daily, catlax to her lips once a day, and to feed chicken baby food till all the sand had been passed. There was only a wee bit of sand, but it was enough to cause the prolapse .
