Default YAY! Male Levis at last...and various photos...

I have finally got an adult male Levis for my two adult females! He is a sweet little chap. Little is the word, he is so much smaller than the ladies!

Whilst feeding tonight I also took a few happy snaps, so thought I'd share a few pickies...

One of the ladies and her new Beau...

Male (top) and female (bottom) H.Bineoi (female gave me another clutch today, bless her!)

Williamsi trio (top male, middle female, bottom gravid female)

Female Steindachneri. She scares me a bit. Very penetrating stare!

Male and female Southern form Intermedius

Juvie U.Milli already showing hugely different colouring

Hi Sarah,
They look great. Thanks for posting the pics. My male N. l. levis is smaller than my female as well.

How are your S. ciliaris and Saltuarius doing?

Hi Justin,

Love 'em all to bits! I knew the male Levis were supposed to be smaller, but I had no idea they would be THAT much smaller, hehehe! He's going to need a step ladder to climb up the fat females!

The Ciliaris are doing great. I have 9 viable eggs from them so far (and 1 dud) and both are gravid again. They are still nice and chubby even after they have laid, so I've got the feeding regime right for them.

The Saltuarius are good too. I am feeding them quite a bit and they have put on a fair bit of weight as a result. No breeding yet. I guess it will be next year that they fire up.

Sarah,
You are amassing quite a nice collection. Thanks for sharing pictures. I really need to visit Australia. Your country's herps are the best.

I love the first pic, that females colors are awesome. I don't know much about Australian species but those are really neat looking. I to would love to go to Australia some day, thats my dream place to live, but I've heard its very hard to go over there and to stay over there.

hehehe! I'm English actually Dragonflames, so you'd have to get a true Aussie to answer that! Yes, Australia is very hard to get into permanently. America is the hardest though LOL!

oh I"m sorry I didn't know. How long have you been over there. See I heard it was harder to get in Australia. A woman I work with is from the middle east and her son is trying to go to school there but he can't get in, I don't know all the details just that hes been trying for a year.

I've been here for over six years now. It isn't easy to get in. Long drawn out process that costs a fortune, but its worth it :0)

Nope, haven't even been to his zoo even though it's only about an hour from my place (just haven't gotten around to it yet!). He isn't really liked in this country, although I know he is very popular in the US...CRIKEY MATE!!
