Default Breeding milii?

Hey guys, I had a couple questions I am hoping to get answered. It will be awhile before I attempt my milii but these questions have been on my mind.

What weights do you breeding milii weigh?
How old are your typical breeders? When is it safe to breed them?
Do you cool them? Or will they typically breed when introduced together?

Thanks.

Hi Kevin,

Usually they will breed and produce very well, even on their first year. Many people do and many people do not cool them. I didn't cool my group last year and they did very well, I did this year and the male hasn't mated yet

But they definitely are a lot fatter this season than before last. Usually they are ready to go a little after a year old. I have a holdback female that is 7 months old but shes BIG and might even be ready before a year. They produce well in their 2nd-4th years though. Last year most of mine laid between 3 and 6 clutches.

I usually breed them at about 1 year of age and around 20 grams. I cooled mine this year, but not a 'hard' cool... just lowered the temps to around 78 degrees. They are extremely prolific breeders!
