Default Losing tails in shipping

I shipped out a group of 5 levis yesterday. Today they arrived and was told that 3 of the 5 dropped there tails in transit. Has anyone ever had this problem? I have asked the party for pics of the geckos and tails. I will post them when they send them. I have shipped and received geckos before and never had this problem. Thank you.

I've had it happen once or twice. Only with Phelsuma though. Were the Strophurus?

Out of all the Nephrurus I have ever shipped, only one has dropped its tail. Something must have really rattled them to have 3 out of 5 drop theirs in the same shipment!

My male wheeleri dropped his tail during shipping. I was really bummed. Obviously it grew back, but it's ugly.

Did you put anything (paper towell, etc.) in the deli cup? I had this happen to me with a levis once, and the only thing I could think of was that it may have snagged its tail on the paper towell that was placed in the deli.

When it happened with mine, there was a paper towel in the deli cup. Maybe that's what happened.
