i just saw how these geckos look like!
i own a few leopard geckos and breed a bit
but man these knobs are cool!
are they common? would i be able to get em in a reptile super show?
are they expensive?
same care as a leopard gecko

i dont keep knob tails personaly at the moment i will soon but have done loads of research. some knobtails like to dig such as levis others dont. cost wise it depends on what you want in australia levis are the cheapest of the knob tails if you tell us a description of the ones you like we may be able to help some more

They are definitely the most beautiful geckos IMO!!!!
I keep two pairs, a nephrurus levis one, and a wheeleri one...
In my country they are very rare (but I live in Italy not in the USA) so I had to buy them from a Czech guy I meet in a big reptile show in my country...About the price, i paid each pair 350euros (consider that this is an honest price), so Yes they are expensive.
The care is almost the same of a leo, temps are a bit higher (32/33 instead of 30), but the substrate is different cause you have to keep them on pure and fine sand...Like giglamesh said, the levis dig A LOT, every morning I find their vivs full of tunnel and holes, while the wheeleri don't.
If you want, I suggest to search informations on nephrurus milii, they are similiar to the Knobtail but very cheap if compared to other nephrurus.
