I bought some nephrurus levis levis at the beginning of the year so they are now 7 months old. The female will eat all day if I let her and is already 34g, the male not so persistent with eating is a healthy 18g. I've read through some previous posts and it sounds like they are within breeding size but I was just wondering what age I should wait until introducing them together.

Any opinion is greatly appreciated.

They can breed at one year of age when they are fully grown and filled in, but I would recommend to wait til the animals are 18 months of age personally.
