Default Killer Amyae?

Hey all,

Let me preface by saying this is week 2 I've had the amyae's.

Everything has been fine husbandry wise, I come home today and go to examine the kids and remove waste. Well when I open the tub the male comes rushing out at me "barking" and making a fuss. He hasn't exhibited this behavior before. Ive heard they are vocal but I never thought he's charge me and get territorial

Now why did you go and tick him off Mike
It's all about the attitude! He is probably just finally settling in and feeling more secure about his house.

Yeah you got some live ones! Both of mine are all bark and no bite now.....if I am lucky, usually they just indignantly move out of my way when I am in there doing cage maintenance.

You know, I wish I could hear my amyae bark at me; that would be so cute! I've got mine December last year, he just back up when he sees me face to face. Otherwise he would continue with what he has been doing - either chilling in a corner or staring at the levis next door...

he sounds nice and feisty! that's nice, he's starting to get comfortable and is being very territorial and he is also holding his ground which is nice. Animals like this have always been good breeders for me.
