Default Weights of adult males?

Hi all, I searched through the older threads, and most of them just mentioned breeding weights for females; just wondering what are the normal average weight for adult amyae and levis males? I'm not referring to breedable weights, just normal weights as an adult.

I have one amyae male and one levis male, both are a little over 1 year old, and weigh 42.5g and 18.5g respectively. Just curious to know if they are average in size, smaller or bigger than normal.

Hello~~~ anyone got some adult male weights that they're kind enough to share? I got my amyae from Steve (geckosetc), he said amyae males are typically in the 30-35g range; but mine is already 43g+ and still going. I know it could be normal (like a non-giant leo can get to 120g+), but still like to hear from others.

I have two levis levis males, one I haven't measured yet. But my one born 8/12 of 08 weighs in at 17 g's. He is pretty decent sized for a male.

Here are my data:

1.0 N.l.l. 10/09 now 12 g not proven
1.0 N.l.l. 7/08 now 15 g proven
1.0 N.l.o. unk. now 11 g, proven
1.0 N.l.p. 09 now 9 g, not proven
1.0 N amyae 8/09 now 31 g not proven
1.0 N Wheeleri 9/09 now 11 g not proven

I'd guess that most of the above males would breed...basically if they are a year old they will attempt to mate with females. I dont have enough experience myself to say if every mating will result in successful matings. I do think that perhaps the adage that you don't cool yearlings and they will still breed is perhaps only partly true...in many other species anyway males need the cooling to undergo spermatogenesis. Perhaps it does happen but its hindered initially without cooling, resulting in low fertility. But who knows, I know many folks have gotten good clutches from 1 year old animals that had not been not cooled. I know some that got all or mostly duds the first year from uncooled animals as well. Me I personally think waiting another year before breeding and/or cooling them (even if you hit the "minimum weights" posted around) makes sense.
