Default Sex of Nephrurus wheeleri

1 yr 2 months old
weighs 17g
Was told it was male at my local reptile store. Please let it be female. Can anyone tell me the sex? Sorry about the photo quality

If I see pic. 1, I would say female. Pic. 2 looks a bit male, but I think it is a female.

I put he/she together with a forsure male a couple months ago or so and the male took he/she by the neck and he/she was trying to escape severely trying to bite back as well. The male cut him/her up badly which healed within a few days.

could be female ? 17 grams is quite big for a male too!

Here is a video of when I put a male in with him/her. He/she was weak at this period in time and I thought breeding might spark some hunger from him/her. I never even thought it could possibly be male as I bought as a pair. I don't want this to happen again. As soon as I turned off the camera I spray/misted the male off with water and he then came after the palm/thumb part of my hand until I was able to get him into his own home.

that's fighting, not mating. also, you're "female" looks skinny.

Yeah "she" definately was way too skinny. "she" wasn 't eating for a month and I didn't know what was wrong with "her". But since "she" has been rehabilitated.
