I have recently brought a Knob Tailed Gecko which had a sore on one side which they pointed out to my at the check out and i am wondering what it could be. it looks like an inverted scab or a shed that has piled up but is inverted on the gecko. if anyone can ID it it would be great. as of this morning she is going through a shed and now has a small strip of skin hanging off the scab, i tried to assist with shedding the skin by pulling on it slightly but it seems to be well attached underneath this scab. please any infomation would be appretiated and i have included a picture but please excuse the moss.

Looks like what was probably a large wound at one point that's healed over. Could have been caused by a number of things but if the skin never fully closed up that's probably the scar tissue that's that been created.

You might want to try and get some closer pictures, maybe someone with more experience to determine if it's healed over, if not you might want to consider taking it to a vet
