I have always shipped and had geckos shipped with paper towel in the container also.....I would say it was some freak thing that the gecko decided to partake in for one reason or another. I have never even heard of something like this.

Yea, I've shipped quite a few amyae of the years and have never had this happen. I'm sorry to say that it was a freak occurrence and is not common by any means and I always use a paper towel in the deli cup. I would not be worried for the next shipment, it should go just fine.

Since i was the shipper ,i was shocked when i saw the pics of my baby male dead with paper towels in his mouth, never heard of this happening,im just glad the 2nd amyae made it safe and looking great man .
