I am curious though what makes a "Lava"? I have seen the reference fairly frequently but never really understood what differentiates a lava from a normal?

I don't know how to describe it but its pattern/markings on the back. Has the lighter line down the center...and...Heres a pic when I first got her at 4-6 months old

Almost 4 month old levis. Can anyone telll me that if it has the line but not quite the bulges yet or not the bulges at all if its male or female? It has very tiny spurs.
