Default Nephrurus levis levis Setups

Hey Guys,

I'm a very new member but I've been keeping reptiles for ages and have gotten into geckos and now I'm serious about keeping them. I currently have a Oedura marmorata and would like to in future purchase a pair or trio of Nephrurus levis levis and a pair or trio of Underwoodisaurus milii. However for now I'm working on getting some N. levis levis. If anyone has any information on setup sizes, systems and feeding I would really appreciate it if people posted in this topic.

I keep my 1.2 in 100x60x45(lxwxh) . I heat it with a bulb to 35° on the hot side . I feed them every other day with insects(all sorts) and once in a while(mostly in the breeding season) pinkie mice
My setup :

Thanks mate,

Just wondering how'd you get the effect with sand on the walls? Also can you maybe give me a run down on how you made the setup if it's okay. Also what's the plastic tub for?

Cheers

Hey Aussie Gecko Boy, I incubate in just a normal 40 usd hovabator. I use ratio 1:1 in grams of perilite and water. I just keep the eggs in sealed deli cups.

That plastic tub looks like a laybox. You won't need one if you keep a deep area moist.

The plastic tub is a humid hide for egg laying and shedding . You can keep an part of the sand moist but with the tub it is easier to look for eggs .
The walls are made from pu foam and tile cement(with colour added)
this is how it looks without the tile cement

It's not realy paint , it is a colour pigment but very concentrated . it is used to add colour to white paint so you can mix your colour the way you like . It is very concentrated so you don't need lots of it to give colour to it
