Default N.Levis Levis variation

I've pretty consistently seen 2 variations of levis out of my group and am curious what others normally see. Very generically I see what I consider the "typical" levis levis which is a darker red colored animal and then what is commonly referred to as "hypo". Pattern varies as well but the main point of variation appears to be color.

What I'm curious about is if anyone sees other common types of variation? I've recently had 2 hatchlings that deviated from the "norm" of my colony (darker with significantly reduced white tubercles). Odds are they are normal within the overall population variation but am interested in input on "typical" variation.

Thanks!

Chris

I am also interested in the varation amoung levis. I'm attaching a picture of a normal and "hypo?" that hatched out from the same parents. For me, the males are the ones that are brighter. I would need to see a picture of the "darker with significantly reduced white tubercles" to see how that compares. But I have some levis with white tubercles and some with the standard yellowish color.

I'll try to get some pics of the "darker" variation. The 2 other variations I am speaking of are pretty much like the photo you posted. For comparison sake I'll take some pics in the next day or so to try and show the difference between the 3 "types" of variation I see out of my group. I find it interesting because even within these 3 types there can be quite a lot of variation. Nothing as extreme as what I see out of deleani, but more than I would have expected.

was hoping to have some time to get better pics, hope to get better examples of the 3 different variations I see. This new dark one is tough for me to capture for some reason. They all look like they are close to shed though they shed a week or so ago.
1st pic is a light animal/not quite hypo with one of the dark/reduced tubercle hatches. The second is a light/hypo with a more typical darker hatchling from late 2011.

I'll try to get some pics of the 3 different types together this weekend when I can pull out some that are all close in size.

Wow! You can really see the difference between the two in the first picture. Either way, I think I'm in love!
