they look fantastic! May i ask how do you incubate (substrate, temperature, water-substrate ratio)?

Hi Sebastian,

I incubate them the same as leos. 6:1 vermiculite:water by volume (1:1 by weight) and temp of 82 seems to give the best results; large babies, good color. I experimented with lower temps (74-7 and got a much reduced hatch rate (eggs of other geckos hatched in this incubator quite well, so it was isolated to the coleonyx). Color and size was similar to the 82 temps, but as I said the hatch rate went down significantly and now I use 82 exclusively.

Regards,
John

Hi John,
thanks for sharing info. Your method fit into my ideas.
I really like the yellow colour on the hatchling and the weird white of the adults. If you wasn't on the other side of the sea, i would try to make a deal immediately
Regards
