Default New Tucson Banded owner, got a few questions.

I just bought two Tucson banded geckos. One male, one female. These are my first geckos, but i have experience with turtles and frogs. Anyway, the place i bought them from said it would be ok to let them stay in a 5 gallon aquarium, however im trading someone for a 10 gallon, that is ok right, i cant imagine bigger is worse. Also as far as breeding, what are the key months for breeding, does the female lay her eggs in the water, what do they look like, are they easy to spot? So far i have the repti bark for the bedding, a few rocks, a shallow water dish, a few twigs and a leafy vine, oh also a red heat light. Is there anything else i need. Anything else i should know?

Sorry for all the quesitons, thanks in advance.

To the best of my knowledge, for best breeding info, check out leopard gecko care sheets and take it from there. The jury seems to be out about substrate. You can read all the varied posts from my thread where I asked about it.
