Default Elegans

Ok, I see that there are 2 subspecies of Coleonyx Elegans. That is all fine and good. My questions is this, is the picture of the white elegans I just found recently the second subspecies or just a color morph?? and if its a morph why is no one working with them they are really great looking geckos.

It's a morph. As far as I know, most of the animals carrying that gene died. There are a few european breeders trying to work with the last(i think only one left) animal to bring the trait back.

Once it's available, I will be picking up a few of them

I'm not sure. Perhaps you can ask the one that posted the pics you saw :P I think the natural form is prettier though
