Default Eggs?

I purchased this little one on impulse about 3 months ago.
For the longest time I couldn't get her eating, then about a month and a half ago, she really bulked up and ate like crazy, when cleaning out her hide box, I found two shrunken eggs. So I set up an incubator since I knew she would lay more, and she finally laid 4 days ago! Do you think these eggs could have been fertile? I know they can retain sperm, but I do not have her housed with a male.

The eggs do not feel hard and are kinda flimsy. When is the earliest you can candle for veins?

Here is Bandit

These guys lay eggs like there's no tomorrow. As you already know, shrunken eggs are a lost cause, and if they're water balloon eggs those are no good either. It's hard to tell if she has the capacity to lay fertile eggs from sperm stored before you got her, but if it's easy to set up an incubator, or if you can find a place in your house with steady temps in the 80's, give it a try.

Thanks for the reply

I've heard they are quite prolific. I do have a few incubators, so I set up one heated to 84 degrees. They do feel a little water balloony, so maybe they're not fertile Now I need a male!

you can candle eggs right away to see if there is a red circle with a red spot in the center. it never hurts to incubate just to see

I candled them a few weeks ago and nothing but yellow, and they were also very "water balloony". Must have just been duds
