Default fertile or not

Hi All,

im new here, but i hope u will still help me.

i have 2.2 silver-eyes which i bought recently, 1 of the females laid 2 eggs about a month ago, and i started incubating them -but now a little over 1 month after i can't really see any development in the eggs.

Could they be infertile or are the eggs normally slow starters

Felinus eggs are slow to develop. They can take up to 4 months to hatch. They could be infertile. But my guess is that you would know it by now if they were (they probably would be moldy by now). As long as they look ok, no reason not to keep them going.

Don't throw them out. What temps are you incubating them at? Ours usually take 3 months at 75 degrees.

Thank you both for your replies

I also thought they where slow developing, but better to ask and be assured (less worrying )

I am incubating them at around 75 with a nighttime drop to around 68-70

-and I was never going to throw eggs out before they go bad and smell
