Hi Everyone,
I had a trio of LTC proven Cameron Highlands cat geckos shipped to me via fedex guaranteed by 10:30 AM TODAY. The plane that was carrying them was delayed and arrived late. I have been on the phone with various fedex reps all day and unfortunately the package will not arrive until tomorrow morning.

They were shipped with heat packs, I assume the 40 hour heat packs.

Do you guys think they will be OK? I've never had this happen, has this ever happened to anyone?

I'm flipping out right now, especially since they are a trio of local specific proven animals.

I've had many shipments lost, with few disasters. Try to calmly explain the rarity of the animals and why you prefer to ship through them (ego stroking works). Often they'll at least ensure that the package is inside, rather than sitting out on the tarmac, freezing. Keep calm and positive, they want you to get your package, too.

They told me the package is with thousands of others in some type of certain container? Is that on the tarmac? They told me that they can't go through all of them to find my package, hopefully everything will be ok. The shipper told me that he included heat packs and the box was lined with thick styraphome.

Well despite the shipping delays they arrived safe and sound this morning!

They are absolutely beautiful, I'm thrilled to be working with this specie, and I hope to add whatever I can to the captive bred population of Cameron Highlands Cat Geckos.
