I guess the question rather should be: which one do you want to get, rather than which one do we think you should get.
My personal experience is that, if you read enough about a species of gecko, and you think you can provide all of the requirements needen, you can give it a try. As long as you know what you're doing, you can keep Aeluroscalabotes felinus without trouble. (and for big questions there always is this great forum, where you can get feedback for all your questions <before you get the geckos and afterwards of course>)
good luck with that,
yours,
Fabrizio

I think exactly the same. I read a lot about A felinus (cat geckos) before i got my trio. Before I got them I also only have had common beginner "easier to care for" geckos and I have never had any problems with them and they are laying eggs.
So just make sure to read a lot about whatever animal you'd like to get and make sure you can provide the right care for it that is needed.
That's my experience, so I totally agree with geckofactory.

Well, obviously quoting what they said before, just an addiction: if you like active geckos, felinus are not the right choice.
I love them, but they are really static (not something negative for me, but it is for others).

I agree with that too.
Catgeckos are almost never active at all during the day, they are mostly just sleeping in their hides. It's not a problem for me because I take a look at them and take care of all my nocturnal geckos when the lights are off, when they are active.
