Do cave geckos store sperm beyond one - two clutches?

Yes, they are able to produce fertile eggs during a breeding season, even when the male has been removed after the first clutch of eggs.

I was asking because I get a pair of duds after 1-2 clutches without a male present now that I'm keeping track. Introducing a male makes good eggs again.

Has happened in more then one species and in over 8 females.

Might be the high temps though. My daily high isn't great for them probably.
