I'm almost sure that the higher tempertures mess with sperm both in the male and stored in the female. Anyone care to give your thoughts on this?

How high of temperatures are we talking about?

non fatal upper range of tolerance in the 80's. Higher then they'd probably be able to seek out in the wild, where there seems to be better immune system function (I've had animals with problems recover better).
